Fancy a hike in the a national park? With national parks to the north and south of
Sydney, there are no shortage of trails to get off the beaten track. Sydney prides itself on its green spaces and there are many areas protected from further development.
To the North you have the Hawkesbury River and the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Jump on a local ferry for a trip around the river or take a hike to the top of Barrenjoey Lighthouse for one of the most spectacular views looking down along the coast to the city.
To the South your have the Royal National Park. Established in 1879, the jaw-dropping Royal National Park spans over 15,000 hectares. Many Sydneysiders treat it as an extended backyard, where they can enjoy nature at its finest. It’s popular for picnics, family days out, walking and cycling the many trails through bushland and along clifftops. There’s also great surfing, swimming holes, scenic lookouts and camping.
It’s Australia’s oldest commercial wine region where grapes have been growing for nearly 200 years!
Our private Hunter Valley tour guests are welcome to select their own vineyards or leave it up to us. Our vineyards are carefully chosen. We like to get an idea of what our guests interests are and based on these interests, we can formulate a day that we believe will make the most out of your experience. Every group is different!
After more than 10 years we have built wonderful relationships with a number of vineyards in the Hunter Valley. We specialise in visiting the smaller premium vineyards that focus on quality over quantity. That’s not to say there are not some bigger produces also creating some lovely wines. There certainly are however they are often accessible from your local bottle shop. The smaller vineyards we visit only sell their wines directly from the cellar door. So you will discover some special wines you may never have come across before, nor will again!
The Hunter Valley is renowned for its amazing cuisine as well as wine. There are so many food options to choose from. Whether you are after something simple and fast or would prefer a long boozy lunch with a view, it’s really up to you. We can give you a variety of suggestions to choose from.
Well, there is quite a lot more to do than wine tasting. There are some locally produced cheese you can taste made from Hunter Valley goats and cows, olive oil and olives made/grown from Hunter Valley grown trees. To confuse your taste bud even more, there are a wonderful selection of distilleries and brewery you can also incorporate into your day. From glittered fluro vodka to organ gin and incredibly delicious craft beer, your senses will be well looked after.

It’s no surprise why the Blue Mountains have become world famous. Yes, it’s World Heritage-listed and those incredible views have her guests returning again and again. With beautiful gardens, delicious food with views, fresh mountain air, heritage buildings and dotted towns with their own special charm and attractions. It’s the great escape from the busy city that Sydney siders swarm to daily. Here is nature at her best!
The Blue Mountains is approximately 2 hours from Sydney. It’s part of the Great Dividing Range that spans from Victoria in the south to Queensland in the North. With majestic towering sandstone cliffs surrounding a rich temperate rainforest, it’s a true nature lovers paradise.
Dreamtime stories from the Gundungurra and Darug tribes bring a spiritual closeness to land that has been cared for by them for over 10,000 years. From ancient Aboriginal rock art to the thrill of riding the cable car over the valley at Scenic World! Not to mention the steepest train in the world!
